Homeowners Board

All Viewpointe at Redondo homeowners are encouraged to serve on the board. It is a vital service to our neighborhood, in order to keep it going strong and looking beautiful.

The three-member board appoints committees to oversee architectural and landscape requests from homeowners and handles the finances of the neighborhood.

Each board member serves a three-year term, and can continue to serve for as long as he or she wants, providing they get re-elected at the annual homeowners meeting.

Submission of Modifications

Whenever a Viewpointe homeowner is planning to alter the exterior of their home or property in any manner, they must first fill out a request for an Architectural Review and deliver it to the ARC. In it, they must clearly state what they are planning to do, and include any plans, drawings or paint samples that are applicable to the project.

Frank Duke, President

Jeannette AldersonI grew up in the NE Philadelphia, PA area. I graduated from Penn State University in 1970 with a degree in Accounting and worked in information systems for the Procter & Gamble Co. in Cincinnati until I retired in 2000.

I received an MBA in Federal Taxation from Xavier University in 1994 and started a personal tax preparation and consulting business in 1996, becoming a CPA in 2002.

We moved to Viewpointe to be near our daughter in Normandy Park in April of 2014.

I retired a second time and closed my business after the 2019 season and and now I volunteer with AARP-Tax Aide preparing returns in the Federal Way Libraries at no charge.

Karrie Cleveland, Treasurer

Karrie ClevelandMy family and I have lived in the Viewpointe Redondo neighborhood since July 2015.  We love living in this neighborhood and I truly enjoy being a party of the Christmas light tradition.  It gives me warmth to know that our Christmas lights can bring joy to those who drive by and view them.

Our two daughters, Alyssa and Emma keep my husband, Craig and I busy with all of their activities.  I am currently working as a bookkeeper at a local nursery and have been in this industry for 25 years.   I have been a Girl Scout leader for the past 8 years and a PTA Treasurer for the elementary and middle schools that our daughters attended.

I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking and walking on the Redondo boardwalk.  You can find me walking around the neighborhood with our black lab, Beans.

My family and I moved from Everett to ViewPointe in April 2017.  My husband Dan grew up in Silverdale and I was raised in Buckley and Gig Harbor.  We love the ViewPointe neighborhood and enjoy walking/jogging and taking in the water and mountain views.  Decorating for Halloween and especially Christmas are standout holiday traditions that we appreciate. The annual Christmas food drive, Prevention Time charity events, and our block potluck are things for which our neighborhood can be proud.

My husband, Dan, is employed by Boeing and the labor union.  He worked on the Everett flight line in Pre-Flight Delivery and  Inspection and in the factory on all twin-aisle airplane programs. He is a USAF veteran.

I am a busy mom of Kaelyn and Lindsey, homemaker, and occasional school volunteer.  I am a college graduate and worked previously as a dental assistant, secretary, editor of a newsletter, and self-employed medical transcriptionist (always did our own taxes and have built computers).  Hobbies include a bit of piano, art, and recovering furniture lately.  We also host a weekly Bible study group.

Craig Cleveland

Craig ClevelandMy wife, Karrie, and two daughters, Alyssa and Emma, are recent additions to Viewpointe, having purchased our home here in July 2015. We are longtime residents of Federal Way, though. I moved here from Maple Valley in 1990 -- and Karrie has lived her entire life here – along with her parents, who still live in their original home by Celebration Park.

One of our favorite traditions since our daughters were born years ago was to drive through the Viewpointe neighborhood at Christmas time to enjoy the holiday lights and the feeling of a local neighborhood giving of themselves for the greater good of the community. Karrie and I never imagined being blessed to call this same neighborhood home – but here we are! We now gladly manage the annual food donation program during the Holiday Lights month-long event – whose proceeds benefit our local Multi-Service Center and Northwest Harvest.

As for myself, I co-own a small business which wholesales and distributes contract, mid-market office furniture – with offices located in Tukwila, WA and Portland, OR. I have been with this small family business since 1996.

Thu Van LeI am originally from Yardley, PA, across the Delaware River from Trenton, NJ. I met Frank at Penn State University in 1963 and we married in 1966 while he was in the Army. After he came home from Vietnam, he graduated from Penn State and we moved to Cincinnati, OH. I continued my career as a teacher in the public schools, concentrating on children with learning disabilities. Along the way, we had 2 daughters, one of whom lives in Normandy Park with her husband and our 2 grandsons. Our other daughter lives in upstate NY. I retired from high school teaching in 2000 but I presently teach an online course to teach other teachers methods for teaching reading, particularly to dyslexic children. I also tutor students with reading difficulties in our home.
